A 7.5 Foot Scandinavian Pine Settle / Bench With Original Painted Decoration - c.1900
A fantastic and very long Eastern European spindle backed bench or settle, probably Swedish, in its original grained and scumble painted finish with gilt painted detailing.
Condition:
In good condition but appears to be lacking its hump at the middle of the back. One spindle in the middle also seems to have lost its paint. General wear and tear to paint on other expected places. Structurally very solid, with no woodworm. Ready to be used.
