A fine Gillows rosewood library armchair, in its original ticking, with shaped back and arms, on turned legs with substantial Cope & Collinson brass castors.

One leg stamped ‘IB’, for the craftsman Isaac Boulton, who made furniture for Gillows in the early 19th century.

Condition:

Staining and marks to seat ticking. Structurally excellent with no issues, lovely rich colour and ready for a new top cover to your taste.
