A Golden Oak Sectional Glazed Barristers Bookcase - Globe Wernicke Type - c.1920
A very smart and useful oak sectional glazed bookcase, of good colour and wear, having a deep bottom section with a drawer, and three smaller sections on top, with brass knobs. Either by Globe Wernicke or a good copy. No maker’s mark.
The glass doors hinge and slide neatly away at the top of each section, enabling easy access to the contents with both hands.
Condition:
In good condition with marks to the finish which add rather than detract (in my opinion). No breaks or damage, cleaned, waxed and ready to go.
