A Large Victorian Leather 400 Shotgun Cartridge Magazine, Initialled D.S-O. - c.1880
A large and nicely patinated Victorian leather shotgun cartridge magazine, to hold 16 boxes of 12 bore cartridges (i.e. 400), with a leather securing strap that goes all the way round, and brass lock plate.
The lid has a thick oval piece of brass engraved with the initials D.S-O.
Condition:
In good condition with some loose / missing stitches to to the edges of the lid, which do not detract from the box’s function. Ready to be used and enjoyed.
