A Portuguese Rosewood Centre Table - c.1750
A wonderful Portuguese solid rosewood centre table, in well patinated condition with a chevron carved frieze, turned legs and spiral twist stretchers, on bun feet.
Condition:
This table has had a life, with various modifications and replacement elements over the years. It has lost its long stretchers that would have gone between the legs, the top is split, the drawers are virtually impossible to open as there are no handles. The legs are strong and stable however.
