A Rosewood Bookcase / Drinks Cabinet By Torbjorn Afdal For Bruksbo, Norway - 1960's
A fine piece of Scandinavian case furniture designed by Torbjorn Afdal for Bruksbo, Norway - dating to the 1960’s.
Constructed in beautifully figured book matched timbers, incorporating a pair of adjustable shelves and a pair of drawers above a fall front which opens to reveal a mirror backed drinks area with adjustable glass shelves, the base section having a single sliding drawer to the left and three adjustable shelves to the right.
The fall front drinks cabinet has an automatic light which we have rewired with new fabric flex.
Supplied with original key.
The top section lifts off the bottom for transport.
Condition:
Overall in excellent condition, with some age related marks and scratches, nibbles to corners of glass shelves, and a possible old dowelled repair to recessed plinth base.
