An Unusual Victorian Hand Painted Number Board / Key Rack - c.1880
A rather mysterious and highly decorative Victorian number board, with hand painted gilt numbers on a black ground and circular brass tags each stamped with a number and either P & Co Ltd or E.P & Co Ltd.
We are not sure of the original use of this board, but it could have been for a hotel, or a system for workers to check in and out.
Condition:
In charming, time worn condition.
