George II Mahogany Serpentine Knife Box / Desk Companion - c.1750
A charming Georgian mahogany knife box which has at some stage been converted into a desk companion with an internal division. The box has brass fittings and three brass claw and ball feet - in original dry, untouched condition.
This box was found in a Wiltshire country house attic.
Condition:
In good order, with no issues. A couple of small old repairs are visible if you look hard enough. The key is possibly not original and the lock is quite sticky.
