A French Louis Philippe Tapestry Armchair 'Non Verba Sed Acta' - c.1890
A fabulous late 19th century French armchair, having tapestry upholstery with an armorial to the back:
‘Non Verba Sed Acta’ - which translates loosely to ‘actions speak louder than words’.
Ebonised with all over gilt decoration, on horn front castors.
Condition:
In good condition. A couple of loose threads on tapestry which are stable and don’t detract. Structurally sound with minor surface imperfections commensurate with age. Ready to go.
