A William IV Mahogany Open Armchair In The Manner Of Gillows - c.1830
A fabulous William IV mahogany spindle back open armchair, with buttoned dark green velvet horse hair filled seat and back cushions, scroll arms and turned and carved legs with brass castors.
Very much in the style of Gillows, if not by the makers themselves.
Condition:
Excellent frame with no issues. Has had some new blocks professionally fitted underneath, and as such is now a strong chair. Fabric usable but somewhat tired.
