An elegantly proportioned George III period sofa, with curved arms and back, the eight mahogany legs united by offset plain stretchers, on its original gilt brass barrel castors.

The arms and back can be unscrewed to aid upholstery.

Stripped back to calico, ready for a new top cover.

English, c.1790.

Condition:

In good condition. Old worm holes to the rails behind the seat, which we have treated as a precaution. Slight movement to the back.
