This is a general arrangement engineering diagram of the Gloster-Whittle E28/39 jet aircraft, which was the first British jet-engined aircraft. It first flew in 1941.

This original printed engineering diagram shows four different two dimensional cross section views of the aircraft and is signed in the bottom right corner in green chalk ‘CHIEF DESIGNER’ (which was George Carter), making it even more significant.

A scarce and important part of early jet aviation history in the Second World War.

In a brand new deep black bespoke frame.

Condition:

Visible creases and folds with yellowing/discolouration. See photos.
